Dry mortar for autoclaved cellular concrete

Glue for gas silicate blocks is a special adhesive composition that is used in the construction of buildings from gas silicate blocks and slabs. In addition to laying gas silicate, this mixture can also be used to level surfaces, but the layer should not exceed 5 millimeters.

This mixture consists of mineral binders (cement), mineral filler (sand) and special additives - modifiers.

Advantages of glue

• Evenness of masonry. The Zabudova company offers blocks with exceptionally ideal geometry. The use of glue for laying such blocks ensures the maximum possible evenness of the wall or other structure.
• Efficiency. Despite the fact that glue is more expensive than regular cement, its use (where allowed) is more profitable, since the consumption of such a solution is several times lower due to its increased efficiency.
• Thermal insulation properties. The cement mortar layer is called a “cold bridge”, which is due to the high thermal conductivity of the material. The use of glue allows you to avoid the formation of such “bridges” and thereby reduce heat loss.
• No need for large amounts of water. For 1 kilogram of glue you need only 140–150 ml of water. In the case of cement, the proportion is approximately 1:1. Since aerated concrete tends to absorb moisture, cement mortar for its laying is not the best solution.
• No shrinkage. Adhesive for cellular concrete blocks is not subject to shrinkage.
• Strength. Thanks to the use of glue, it is possible to achieve small seams, which ensures the solidity of the final structure.

Types of adhesive for aerated concrete blocks

How to prepare glue?

Mix a certain amount of glue and water in a container at the rate of 140–150 ml of water per 1 kg of solution. Gradually add the above ingredients to the container and, using a drill mixer, achieve a uniform consistency. After this, leave the solution for 5 minutes and then stir again.

Keep in mind that even winter glue must be mixed in a warm room. The finished solution should have a thick, “creamy” consistency.
